MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The WVU student-run organization, TEDxWVU, is seeking speakers to present talks that will spark deep discussion and connection surrounding the theme “Move Mountains” during the March 23 event in the Gluck Theatre.
Interested applicants are encouraged to bring new and well-formed ideas that can be presented in under 18 minutes.
Talks cannot promote commercial, political or religious agendas.
Past event speakers include Ginny Thrasher, WVU alumna and 2016 Olympic gold medalist; Autumn Tooms Cyprés, founding dean of the College of Applied Human Sciences; and Emily Calandrelli, executive producer and host of Fox’s “Xploration Outer Space.”
Those interested must submit an application by Jan. 19.
