CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Near seasonable temperatures are expected to persist, along with chances for showers and thunderstorms through Tuesday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Charleston says that precipitation chances will be greatest along and near the mountains.
Locally heavy rainfall may occur which could cause water issues. Drier and slightly cooler conditions return will return during the middle of this week.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected through Monday and Tuesday with heavy rain at times in stronger storms. Repeated storms over several locations may bring several inches of rain.
The NWS recommends that you stay weather-aware, never cross flooded roadways, and have multiple ways to receive warnings.
