MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two Pennsylvania residents were arrested late Friday night after a traffic stop on Interstate 68 led to the discovery of suspected drugs.
According to the West Virginia State Police, Trooper First Class J. L. Anglin conducted a traffic stop on a dark-colored Ford SUV at approximately 11:17 p.m. on February 21 in the Morgantown area.
The driver, identified as Paul Martin Brownfield, 41, of Adah, Pennsylvania, and the passenger, Julie Ann Strosnider, 43, of Dilliner, Pennsylvania, were taken into custody after authorities found suspected methamphetamine, a large quantity of alprazolam pills, and a scale, all wrapped in plastic baggies.
Trooper Anglin was assisted by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s K-9 unit in the investigation.
Brownfield and Strosnider were charged with possession with intent to deliver and drug conspiracy.
