BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Bluefield University will continue to operate remotely through Friday, December 8, 2023.
We are grateful for the efforts and hard work completed so far by the work crews present on campus all day. Unfortunately, unforeseen issues with the water lines have occurred as previously indicated to be a possibility. This will require the water to be off through the end of the week. Because of this, the campus will operate in a remote learning capacity through the end of the week.
Faculty will be working with students to accommodate the completion of the semester given the water outage.
Cafeteria service will operate under normal hours for dinner this evening and all day Wednesday. Brunch will be served Thursday, December 7, 2023, which is the last scheduled day of cafeteria service for the semester.
Only essential personnel will continue to report to campus through Friday.
We thank our campus community again for their patience with this situation. Additional information will continue to be shared as available through RAMAlert and email with the campus community.
