Children’s Home Society of West Virginia has released an announcement regarding its second annual “Hope, Line and Sinker” Bass Fishing Tournament, which is set to take place on April 9th, 2022.
The tournament will be conducted by B.A.S.S. Nation of West Virginia, and will run from 6:30am to 2:30pm. It will be held at Summersville Lake, and boats will launch from the Marina the morning of the 9th.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Summersville Permanency program. The cost of entry will be a $100 donation per boat, with two participants permitted per boat.
“We had such a great turnout and involvement last year and we are looking forward to another amazing tournament in 2022,” an excerpt from the announcement reads.
Pre-registration for the tournament is currently available on the agency website at https://www.childhswv.org/save-the-date/. Registration for the event will remain open until April 5th.
Physical registration forms can also be filled out and turned in as a means of signing up for the tournament. These forms are available for pickup at the Summersville Children’s Home Society offices, located at 402 Church Street, Summersville, WV 26651.
