HARPERS FERRY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – State Treasurer and Candidate for Congress in West Virginia’s 2nd District, Riley Moore, today announced he has received the endorsement of State Senator Patricia Rucker (R – Jefferson). Rucker’s endorsement follows the endorsements of over 90% of West Virginia State Delegates in the 2nd Congressional District.
“West Virginia students have a champion in Riley Moore. His voice will be indispensable on Capitol Hill, fighting for educational choice and parental rights. Riley has fought the special interests who have tried to hold back educational innovation and accountability in our state. I’m proud to stand with him as he takes the next step,” said Senator Rucker.
“I’m very happy to receive the support of Senator Rucker. She has fought tirelessly for West Virginia’s children and improved the lives and life outcomes of so many West Virginians. Just as I’ve worked with Senator Rucker here in West Virginia to make life better, I’ll take those same values and initiatives to Washington to improve education for all children,” said Treasurer Moore.
Riley Moore is running for the Republican Nomination in West Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District encompassing 27 counties in the northern half of the state. You can learn more about Riley Moore’s campaign for U.S. Congress at MooreForWV.com.
