RAVENSWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two individuals determined to have been responsible for an ongoing spree of breaking and entering incidents in the Northern Jackson County area have been detained by authorities.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports that two individuals – identified as Christopher Schoolcraft, 43 years old of Racine, OH and Jessica Anderson, 37 years old of Racine, OH – were arrested on multiple charges in connection to an array of thefts and break-ins throughout the Jackson County area.
The two are reported to have traveled across state lines in order to steal from multiple businesses in the county. The investigation has been ongoing, and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office turned to the general public last week as a potential source of information regarding the then-unknown perpetrators of these crimes.
As it turns out, this means of seeking intel proved to be successful, and the department has since extended gratitude to the public for their assistance in identifying the responsible individuals. Following the arrests, warrants were obtained by Deputy Varney for a search of the couple’s residence in Meigs County, OH.
Christopher Schoolcraft and Jessica Anderson each face charges of Breaking and Entering, Grand Larceny, and Conspiracy.Â
