BECKLEY, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) — Beckley VA Medical Center is helping Veterans have convenient options for flu vaccines.
In addition to being able to receive it during any scheduled appointments, Veterans can use the “drive-thru” option Monday through Friday, October 18 through November 5, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Saturday clinic day will be available on October 23, 2021, from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m.
No appointments at the Beckley VAMC location are necessary.
The Greenbrier VA Outpatient Clinic will host a similar option on October 5, 7, 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. However, Veterans are asked to call 304-497-3900 to make an appointment first.
The Princeton VA Outpatient Clinic has flu vaccines available by appointment only; call 304-323-4020. Parking obstacles make the drive-thru clinic not feasible at this location.
In Summersville (Nicholas County), the Mobile Medical Unit will have a drive-thru flu vaccine clinic available Thursday, October 28, and Tuesday, November 9, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is stationed at the Summersville Arena and Conference Center.
