PEYTONA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Peytona man was arrested last week for his involvement in a domestic violence situation which reportedly involved strangulation, unlawful restraint, and other charges.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, November 13, 2023, Boone County Deputies responded to reports of a domestic violence situation which occurred in the Drawdy area of Boone County. Responding to the incident, sheriff’s deputies began the conducting of an investigation into the purported events upon their arrival at the scene.
The investigation in question led law enforcement to determine that a male involved – identified as Stephen Collin Keffer, 30 years old of Peytona, WV – to have been a perpetrator in the incident. As a result, deputies facilitated the arrest of Collin for his involvement.
Keffer has been charged with Strangulation, Unlawful Restraint, Domestic Battery, and Domestic Assault. The arrest notably follows a series of prior arrest for similar charges, including but not limited to Malicious Wounding, Child Abuse with Serious Bodily Injury, and various domestic charges, among others.
