BENWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Delegate Charlie Reynolds, R-Marshall, recently joined Senator Charles H. Clements, R-Wetzel, to present a $25,000 check for the City of Benwood to use in the further construction of a new amphitheater.
Reynolds, who was first elected to the Legislature in 2020, was able to help secure the funds through an economic development grant.
“This new amphitheater is already under construction, and when it’s complete, it will be a great feature for the entire community to utilize for a variety of different events,” Reynolds said. “This will really help anchor the park and give us yet another reason to gather in Center Benwood, and I’m so proud to be able to join with Senator Clements to help the City of Benwood shine even brighter.”
Reynolds is a Moundsville native who serves on several committees in the House of Delegates: Energy and Manufacturing, Government Organization, Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security as well as Workforce Development.
