BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Partners in Prevention (PIP) will be partnering with the Just for Kids Advocacy Center this weekend for a Community Easter Egg Hunt event at Just for Kids’ Beckley location.
Families are encouraged to “hop on over for a day of fun” Saturday at this community event organized for children throughout the Raleigh County area. Aside from the Easter Egg Hunt itself, guests can help themselves to brunch, a free picture with the Easter Bunny, and a number of additional activities set to occur.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00am on Saturday, April 1, 2023, and continue until 2:00pm. Just for Kids Child Advocacy Center – Trud’s House located at 611 North Kanawha, Beckley, WV 25901 will serve as the location for the event.
Those who participate are asked to bring along their own baskets for egg collecting. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 11:00am.
Just for Kids will also be holding a Plant a Pinwheel ceremony at the office of Beckley Mayor Rob Rappold on Monday, April 3, 2023, with Raleigh County Head Start students at 10:00am. Later that day, Just for Kids will be holding a second Plant a Pinwheel ceremony at their Fayette County location with Oak Hill Mayor Wright with Fayette County Head Start students at 1:00pm.
