BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Calling all animal lovers: Do you have a furry friend you’d like to show off to the world? We want to hear from you!
LOOTPRESS is excited to announce the upcoming ‘Pet of the Week’ series in association with the Humane Society of Raleigh County.
The recurring feature will highlight one loveable critter each week to help raise awareness for adoption and support opportunities for local animals in the community.
Submissions will open each week on Monday, with the week’s featured pet being announced on Friday.
Just include a photo of your pet, along with some basic info such as name, favorite things to do, favorite toys etc, for a chance to have them featured as Pet of the Week!
Submissions will open Monday, August 29, 2022, at which time further information will be provided regarding the submission process.
Serving people and pets since 1979, the Humane Society of Raleigh County is a local non-profit whose mission it is to prevent animal abuse and neglect.
Their animal shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, excluding holidays, from 11:00am to 4:30pm, and can be found at 325 Grey Flats Rd, Beckley, WV 25801.
