FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after threatening to kill a man riding his bike and poison his food.
According to Montgomery Police, on August 29, 2023, a man rode his bike near 4th Avenue in Montgomery of Fayette County. The defendant, Jason Spaulding, yelled at the man and said, “Not today, buddy.” The victim says he ignored him and continued riding.
Mr. Spaulding then yells, “I’ve got somebody dying.” The victim responds, “Ok, well then, mind your own business.” Mr. Spaulding then stated, “You know what? I’m going to kill you.”
Mr. Spaulding then reached into his vehicle and pulled out a pickaxe. Mr. Spaulding has been continuously harassing the victim and even threatened to poison his food should he ever order from Frank’s Pizza, where Spaulding works.
Spaulding is charged with brandishing and assault. He is currently out on bond.
