MONROE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Monroe County Schools are closing all schools for the rest of the week due to COVID-19.
Monroe County Schools says that all schools will be closed due to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases. Lessons will be sent remotely through Schoology or through paperwork packets.
All practices and games are also canceled. Schools will reopen on September 7, 2021.
The Monroe County Health Department is currently reporting a surge of COVID-19 cases, the most since the pandemic began.
