MIDDLEBOURNE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Town of Middlebourne partook in Municipal Elections on Tuesday along with a number of areas throughout the Mountain State.
Unofficial election results were reported by the town on Tuesday evening and confirmed successful unopposed bids by both Mayor Dave Myers and Town Recorder candidate Cathy Post.
Eighteen candidates were listed on the ballot in the race for city council election, and the unofficial 2023 Municipal Election results for the Town of Middlebourne are as follows:

Early voting for the election began on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, and run through Saturday, June 10, 2023. Residents voted between 6:30am and 7:30pm on Tuesday, and current results are pending verification of acceptance by candidates and correspondence with the West Virginia Secretary of State’s office on Wednesday morning.
