CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A bill introduced in the state senate would require minors in possession of marijuana, and their parents, to attend classes teaching the dangers of marijuana.
SB 25, introduced by Eric J. Tarr (R – Putnam, 04), says The Division of Health and Human Resources shall propose rules to class frequency, location, and fees that may be charged for the classes. All fees would be deposited in the state’s General Fund.
The bill says that anyone that fails to appear for the class may be subjected to court proceedings.
