HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Sunday, Marshall University announced that a student had passed away during the early morning hours Sunday morning.
Marshall University President Brad D. Smith released a statement stating the student had passed away from “presumed medical issues” while in their residence hall on campus.
According to Marshall University, the student has been identified as junior Quinton Bogner, from Missouri, a secondary education major.
“I am deeply saddened to share that one of our students passed away early Sunday morning from presumed medical issues while in their residence hall,” Smith said. “When things like this happen, we may experience a range of emotions and reactions.”
