Patrice was a remarkable woman who lived a life full of adventure and passion. She was not only a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend but also a confidante to those who sought her wisdom. As a marathon runner, mountain climber, and backcountry skier, she fearlessly explored the world, leaving a trail of inspiration wherever she went.
Professionally, Patrice excelled as an advanced obstetric sonographer, specializing in her field. Her dedication to her work was unwavering, and she brought comfort and care to countless patients. Her sense of humor was infectious, always lightening the mood and transforming any sad situation into a room filled with laughter. Patrice’s stories were captivating, and her words of wisdom became guiding principles for those fortunate enough to know her.
Beyond her professional achievements, Patrice had a flair for fashion and adored her signature lipstick. She believed in the power of self-expression through personal style and left an indelible mark on those around her with her impeccable taste.
Patrice is survived by her loving children, Kara (Rob) Selke and Christian (Cindy) Kappler. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren: Marissa, Jeffrey, Stella, Hazel, Wyatt, Jack, Billie Rose, and Becks, as well as her great-granddaughter Mileva. She was predeceased by her beloved sisters Sue Miller and Drew Anderson and is survived by her younger sister Richie Grant.
