Sharon Ann Plumley Guy, 74, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2021 following a long illness.
Sharon was born in Hemlock, WV on February 25, 1947 to the late Ambrose Plumley and Virginia Kincaid Plumley.
Sharon grew up in Stanaford, WV where she met her husband, and the love of her life, Patrick, when she was just a teenager. They were married on November 30, 1964.
Sharon was graduate of Concord University and was a teacher, she taught for 20 years in various schools in Raleigh County. Sharon loved children, and she enjoyed working with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Plumley, and a sister, June Petrosky.
Left to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Patrick; sons, Patrick Guy II and Jack Guy; sisters, Judy Farley, Patsy Corkrean, Rhonda Ewing and husband, Jesse, and Mary Fox and husband, James; her special sister-in-law, Nancy Dillon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2PM with Pastor Roger Harding officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be observed as mandated by the Governor of the State of WV.
