CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Enormously successful county music act, The Judds, will be bringing their final tour to the Mountain State for a performance at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The ongoing run of shows, dubbed “The Final Tour,” was recently extended by Wynona Judd to include 15 additional shows in 2023, one of which will take place in Charleston.
The tour itself comes in the wake of the tragic passing of core member Naomi Judd by suicide on April 30, 2022, just one day prior to the scheduled induction of herself and daughter Wynona into the County Music Hall of Fame as The Judds.
“The decision to add 15 more shows was a no-brainer for me,” the junior Judd said. “The fans have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song. What an amazing season this is. I look so forward to continuing the celebration of the music that has changed my life forever.”
These upcoming shows are set to feature an all-star cast of contributors from the world of country music, including Ashley McBride, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Tanya Tucker, and very special guest Martina McBride.
The Charleston show specifically will reportedly feature an appearance from Tayna Tucker, an established legend of country music in her own right, as well as Martina McBride who herself featured at Charleston’s returning Sternwheel Regatta over the summer.
Wynona and company are set to make their stop in West Virginia on Saturday, February 18, 2022, and tickets to the event are available for purchase here.
