WILLIAMSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three individuals face charges for their involvement in a Mingo County drug sales operation.
According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, Mingo County Deputies initiated the arrests of three suspects in the Williamson area who were found not only to be in possession of multiple prohibited substances, but also involved in the sale and distribution of prohibited substances.
Among the individuals detained were Danika D. Pruitt, Ricky N. Elia and Ian M. Elia, all of Williamson, and substances involved included methamphetamine and fentanyl – a highly lethal opioid which has been a factor in a multitude of drug-related deaths throughout the State of West Virginia in recent years.
The charges incurred by the three as a result of the arrests include possession with intent to deliver controlled substance (fentanyl), conspiracy to deliver (fentanyl), maintaining house for drug sale/use, possession with intent to deliver controlled substance (methamphetamine) and conspiracy to deliver (methamphetamine).
