HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Maintenance scheduled to take place on a Huntington overpass could necessitate the establishing of alternative routes for some drivers in the area beginning Monday.
A notice provided by the City of Huntington Monday indicated that milling for the 20th Street underpass will begin Monday.
Additionally, the underpass is set to undergo paving immediately after on Tuesday, which will restrict the area for at least an additional day.
As this work is being conducted, motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and seek additional routes for travel.
Though Monday and Tuesday are the only days for which work is scheduled to occur per the notice, it is unclear when the underpass area will be fully reopened to regular traffic.
