WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia man has been sentenced for a federal drug charge.
David Lee McCracken, age 39, of Moundsville, West Virginia, was sentenced Thursday to 90 months in federal prison to be followed by three years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to court documents and statements made in court, Ohio County Sheriff’s deputies arrested McCracken at a hotel in Triadelphia, West Virginia, on four outstanding drug trafficking warrants from Belmont County, Ohio.
Investigators searched the hotel room and found two safes containing methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
