ALDERSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The activity & event lineup for the upcoming Alderston Strawberry Festival has been announced, and will include games, food, music, and more.
The festival will take place this weekend on Saturday, May 28, 2022, and will feature events from 10am – 4pm.
A map of all festival events will be available at the Alderson store, and a large yard sale will be held from 8am – 2pm in conjunction with the festival. The Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church parking lot will also serve as the location of a hotdog sale which will also be occurring at this time.
In addition, the WV Renaissance Festival will be offering unicorn rides across from the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church location, and food, along with an artisan market, will be active on the Memorial Bridge.
Sunset Berry Farm will be offering fun for the whole family throughout the day, with a petting zoo, strawberries, jump pad, bucking cow barrel rides, and other activities.
The event will feature live music throughout the day, with Lee Dean’s Swinging with Sinatra Act performing at 10am, Chris Hopson taking the stage at 12pm, and the Thomas Taylor Band performing at 2pm.
Miss Strawberry will also be present at Alumni Park and near the bridge, and will be available for photos and mingling with guests.
The festival is held with support from Sunset Berry Farm & Produce, Sheena Pendley Design & Photography, Alderson’s, and Stuart’s Smokehouse & Seafood
