VIENNA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In front of friends, family and local business leaders, Vienna resident Bob Fehrenbacher announced his candidacy for District 11 of the West Virginia House of Delegates. Fehrenbacher addressed the crowd at the Vienna Community Center.
In announcing his candidacy, Fehrenbacher said, “Jobs, families, education, and infrastructure are the four main pillars of my campaign. West Virginia is poised for a significant economic boom, and I want to use my expertise to help make that success happen.”
Fehrenbacher retired in 2019 from Chemours as the site manager of Washington Works. Despite his retirement Bob stays involved in manufacturing workforce development, chairing the WVMA Education Fund which provides school-based manufacturing exploration programming. Bob is active in numerous civic and community organizations including the Wood County Development Authority, the Parkersburg Rotary, and St. Michael Parish.
Bob continued, “I have firsthand experience on what is needed to help attract investment and jobs to West Virginia. But I also know that there is so much I can learn from the great citizens of the 11th District. This campaign is about ideas, and I would encourage anyone to reach out to me at any time with their thoughts on how we can make our area a better place to live, work and raise a family.”

Bob concluded, “I am looking forward to a spirited campaign based on ideas of how to move West Virginia and Wood County forward.”
