CLIFTON FORGE, VA (LOOTPRESS) – Day one of the George Washington Train Show is in the books but the fun will continue tomorrow.
The George Washington Train Show, the annual fundraiser for the non-profit Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) Historical Society, kicked off in Clifton Forge, Virginia on Saturday.
In the post-pandemic years, the C&O Historical Society has kept the tradition alive with a streamlined “George Washington Expo” on the museum property, the C&O Railway Heritage Center.
Now, for 2024, they are expanding back to the traditional format that allows for additional vendor space during the two-day event in Clifton Forge.
For this year’s train show, they are utilizing both the C&O Railway Heritage Center at 701 Main Street and the Clifton Forge Volunteer Fire Department at 701 Church Street.
Admission into the event is $5 per person and guests will receive access to both locations that will feature vendors, speakers, food, exhibits, gift shopping, and more.
The final day of the George Washington Train Show will kick off tomorrow, Sunday, March 3, 2024, 12 PM-4 PM.
