LEWISBURG, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – During Tuesday night’s regular meeting, the Lewisburg City Council approved the city’s newest Bed and Breakfast.
According to Lewisburg Zoning Officer Marsha Cunningham, the new B&B will offer three rooms for reservation and is located at 332 Lafayette Street.
The Planning Commission approved the business after determining that it met all the city’s guidelines, including:
- It does not disturb the area
- It is cohesive with the area’s current atmosphere
- It will not affect street parking, etc.
Upon the Planning’s Commission approval, the Lewisburg City Council voted and approved a conditional use permit-a zoning exception that allows one to use his property in a unique way when rezoning isn’t possible- for the business.
It was not disclosed when the B&B will be open and taking guests.
