OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two Oak Hill men are facing multiple charges following a Friday traffic stop.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle was stopped by deputies in the Glen Jean/Mount Hope area Friday following a minor traffic offense.
Upon being asked to provide license and registration, the driver attempted to retrieve the vehicle’s registration from the glove compartment. This apparently and visibly dislodged a bag of methamphetamines, which fell from the compartment.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed various paraphernalia including a large quantity of suboxone strips, a large sum of cash, a scale, and multiple EBT cards under various names.Â
No prescription was presented to warrant the possession of the suboxone strips contained within the vehicle.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested and transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
Franklin L. Lambert and Michael A. Forren each face felony charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Narcotic, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule III Narcotic, and Conspiracy.
