RIPLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Jackson County man faces charges following an investigation which led to the discovery of various illicit substances within a residence.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Rodney Rogers was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 by Detective Seth Fisher.
The arrest comes after a significant amount of controlled substances were located within Rodgers’ residence, including over a pound of methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of powder cocaine.
Rodgers faces charges on two counts of Transporting a Controlled Substance into the State and two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver.
Following Rodgers’ arrest on Tuesday he was transported to South Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
“This is a major win again for Jackson County in the continued effort to keep drugs away from our children,” read a statement from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
