Earlier in the week, Son’s-Sational Cinnamon Rolls, a State Fair staple that draws hundreds to the fairgrounds each year, announced that they will be back and serving cinnamon rolls in Lewisburg Jan. 25 through Jan. 31.
When the annual fair was canceled last summer due to COVID, many fair vendors weren’t guaranteed revenue. Several of these vendors, including Son’s-Sational, started setting up shop in various towns and cities throughout southern West Virginia. This is the first time Son’s-Sational has been open since closing out their 2020 season in October.
“We are excited to be coming back in town to serve all of our loyal customers,” the business wrote on Facebook, sharing its hours of operation.
Son’s-Sational Cinnamon Rolls will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday at their usual location- 122 Maplewood Ave. The owners stated that they will close early if they sell out of cinnamon rolls.
Individual rolls are priced at $8 and a special bakers dozen (13 rolls) are priced at $90.
After setting up shop in Lewisburg, Son’s-Sational Cinnamon Rolls will be headed to South Boston, Virginia.
