CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Board of Directors of the West Virginia Chamber met virtually on Thursday, December 3rd, and elected officers for the 2020-2021 term of office.
Steve Robey with Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP was re-elected to a second term as Chairman of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Also re-elected were Susan Lavenski with Charles Ryan Associates as Vice-Chair, Anna Dailey with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP as Secretary, and Maribeth Anderson with Antero Resources Corporation as Treasurer.
West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts said, “The leadership of this team of officers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been outstanding. 2020 has certainly been a challenging year, but with their support and the hard work of the West Virginia Chamber staff, the Chamber has been consistently at the forefront of guiding the business community response to coronavirus.
Thursday’s virtual meeting was the first such gathering of the West Virginia Chamber’s Board of Directors since the organization held a virtual annual meeting on September 2nd to elect a new board. Roberts continued, “The West Virginia Chamber’s Board of Directors is comprised of some of the most well-respected business and community leaders in our state. I am deeply appreciative of everyone who contributes their time and effort into making this organization the success that it is. We are also excited to have 12 new Board members joining the organization and look forward to their involvement. Each individual on the Chamber’s Board brings a unique perspective on how to improve our state’s economy and job creation efforts, making West Virginia a better place to live, work and thrive.”
