CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia Natural Resources Police Officer was recently honored for acts of bravery pertaining to a 2021 armed robbery pursuit.
Officer Seth Rader was the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award on Tuesday, September 20th by Director McMillion and Colonel Cales of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
Officer Radar responded to a September 2021 Lewis County pursuit call to assist the West Virginia State Police and Lewis County Sheriff’s Department apprehend an armed robbery suspect.
“Officer Rader’s bravery and heroic actions that day protected the citizens of this state and made the community safer,” read a statement from the West West Virginia Natural Resources Police. “Officer Rader ran towards danger and not away from it – which resulted in his fellow officers and the public remaining safe that day.”
