RAVENSWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Jackson County Bureau of Investigation made progress in a lengthy drug-related investigation on Thursday when a Ravenswood fentanyl dealer was brought into custody.
According to the Ravenswood Police Department, a search warrant and felony arrest warrant were served at the Ravenswood residence of Tyler J. Pittman, a suspect in an ongoing investigation into local fentanyl distribution.
The mutual agency investigation, led by the Ravenswood PD, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and Jackson County Bureau of Investigation, led to the arrest and detainment of Pittman, who faces charges of both possession and distribution of fentanyl, a highly lethal drug which has emerged as a critical community issue throuighout the state in recent years.
Pittman is currently being held at the regional jail facility in lieu of a bond set at $50,000.
Despite this breakthrough in the aforementioned investigation, Ravenswood Police say that the investigation has not yet reached its conclusion, as it remains ongoing and additional arrests are purportedly pending.
