Phyllis “Tammy” Kincaid, 54, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home in Shady Spring, West Virginia.
Mrs. Kincaid was born in Beckley, West Virginia, the daughter of Tommy Lovell and Patricia Lovell. In high school, she fell in love with her husband, Steven Kincaid, and many years later they reconnected and were married.
Tammy was well-loved by everyone around her. She never met a stranger, and would do anything to help anybody. She loved people and showed this love to everyone around her. Her friends and family describe her as an extremely hard-worker who was also incredibly smart. She could do anything that she put her mind to. Tammy loved to laugh and have a good time and truly enjoyed her life. She also enjoyed being outside landscaping and being with nature.
Mrs. Kincaid was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and those around her. She also assisted her husband in running their family transmission business.
Mrs. Kincaid is preceded in death by her father-in-law Johnny Kincaid. Mrs. Kincaid is survived by her parents Tommy and Patricia Lovell, loving husband Steven Kincaid, her three children, Brandon Lawson and his wife Shay, Amanda Snyder, and Laura West; Stepson Gregory Kincaid; her mother-in-law Linda Kincaid ; her sisters Patricia Johnson (Wayne), Paula Nichols (George), Pamela Frey (Steve); and her twin brother Tommy Lovell (Kim); her sisters-in-law Lisa “Kincaid” Chidester (Kevin), Donna Kincaid (Angie), and Crystal “Kincaid” Hall (Roy), her grandchildren, Caleb Snyder, Cayden Snyder, Cameron Snyder, Caysen Snyder, Aralea West, and one granddaughter on the way; and her nieces and nephews, Daniel Johnson, Heather Nichols, Trina Lovell, Steven Frey, Steven Chidester, Courtney Kincaid, and Kaylee Chidester.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 3 PM with Pastor Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at the Vest Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may visit with the family from 1 PM until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
